Academic & Administrative Development Committee
The committee for academic and administrative development (AAD) consists of a Chairperson, appointed by the President and any interested graduate student.
As needed, the chair consults with members who serve on the Senate Academic Affairs Committee, the Committee on Academic Misconduct (COAM) and Committee on Academic Freedom and Responsibility (CAFR) as well as other committees that affect the academic experience and administrative needs of graduate students.
The AAD creates and co-sponsors programs that enrich the academic experience and assist student with administrative processes.
For 2007-2008 the GAADC is hereby charged with the following:
- Facilitate the timely selection & appointment of the aforementioned committee members.
- Host the "Study Skills" Workshop.
- Host the "Residency" Workshop.
- Host the "RefWorks" Workshop.
- Work with FTAD, the Office of Academic Affairs, and Graduate Constituents to address "as needed" initiatives.
