Graduate Health & Wellness Committee
The Graduate Health and Wellness Committee consists of a Chairperson, appointed by the President and any interested graduate student.
As needed, the chair consults with members who serve on the Student Health Insurance Committee, and University Sports and Recreation Committee and other committees that affect the mental and physical health, physical activity, and lifestyle management of graduate students.
- The GH&WC ensures that graduate students are provided with access to health care & fitness for themselves and their families.
- For 2007-2008 the GH&WC is hereby charged with the following:
- Facilitate the timely selection & appointment of the aforementioned committee members.
- Collaborate with RecSports to revitalize the Frequent Fitness Program.
- Advocate extending the Hours of Operation at the Wilce Student Health Center.
- Collaborate with CVS and/or Target to plan the installation of a "minute-clinic" in the immediate campus area.
