Senate Committee Representatives

The Council of Graduate Students has been given the authority to appoint graduate students to serve the following University Senate Committees, which perform the bulk of the University Senate's work. All the committee appointments are for one year except where otherwise noted.

• Council on Academic Freedom & Responsibility (CAFR)
  Chair: Karen M. Mancl

  This committee studies and acts on matters of academic freedom and responsibility. (Appointees must be GAs.)

  This committee makes recommendations to appropriate University offices on University fiscal affairs. (Two year term.)
