*Please note that food is no longer an eligible expense, in order to focus on research-related costs.

*Please be aware that all Ohio State students traveling to international locations for the purpose of undergraduate or graduate/dissertation research, international internships, or independent study, which is part of their academic program, are required to enroll in the University's supplemental study abroad health insurance.  Be sure to include the expense of the insurance (per day) in your estimated travel costs.  Ohio State's supplemental travel insurance is provided through HTH Worldwide Services. This supplemental insurance is required for all Ohio State students studying and researching abroad, and includes a policy covering accident and sickness and for emergency assistance, evacuation and repatriation.  Awardees who travel internationally will not be reimbursed if they have not purchased supplemental insurance through OSU.   For more information, please visit: ( Note that this information is listed under “Study Abroad”; while the GGG funds research trips, not study abroad trips, this information is still relevant to a research trip.)
