Eligibility Guidelines
- The applicant must be enrolled in the Graduate School at Ohio State during the quarter in which the applicant presents research at the conference, or at least enrolled Autumn Quarter for conferences attended during the Summer Quarter.
- The applicant must be in good standing with the Graduate School.
- The application must be received by the CGS office before conference attendance.
- Applications must be submitted the quarter before the conference. (Conferences that have starting dates that take place between quarters are considered to be part of the following quarter.)
- The applicant need not yet have been accepted to present at a conference in order to apply for RTA funding.
- In all cases, reimbursement is contingent upon the applicant actually presenting the research described in the application at the conference listed. With prior approval by the RTA awards committee, the award can be transferred to a different conference taking place during the same application period, as long as the same research is being presented.
- No applicant will be awarded more than $750 in a given academic year (i.e. Summer through Spring quarters).
- All forms must be signed by the appropriate parties for consideration.
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Guidelines revised June 22, 2007. Changes include eligibilty during Summer Quarter and a Summer - Spring award cycle.
