Senate
The University Senate is a unicameral body consisting of faculty,
administrators, and students, with the power, subject to the
authority of the Board of Trustees, to review, abolish, and create
academic programs, and act upon matters relating to the rights,
responsibilities, and concerns of all members of the university
community.
CGS appoints one graduate student to represent each of the 10
academic areas of the Graduate School. Each senator, in turn, is
required to attend each of the monthly senate meetings, and is
allowed to sit on any of the three senator only
committees.
