Jack Brandl

Bio: 


Jack Brandl is a master's student in the College of Social Work with an emphasis on Community and Social Justice. He earned his bachelor's in Public Affairs with a specialization in Community Organization and Civic Engagement, a dual degree with African-American and African Studies, and minored in Spanish at the Ohio State University in 2019. He served as a Social Change Ambassador in the Office of Student Life Social Change, where he led mentorship-based leadership development programming for incarcerated juveniles at the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility and the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Facility. Jack currently works at the Reeb Avenue Center, a collaborative Center that is home to more than a dozen diverse nonprofit partners working together on the South Side to lend a hand-up to our South Side neighbors. He originally comes from the Chicago-area and is proud to call Columbus his second home! 

Roles & Responsibilities :


  • Assist the executive officers as directed by the President of CGS
  • Serve as the vice-chair of the Organizations and Elections Committee
  • Serve as a non-voting member of the executive committee
  • Co-chair of the Governmental Relations Committee
  • To assist in reviewing and revising the Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules
  • Oversees Delegate Outreach Grant
