Ph.D. Student, Sociology
Annie M. Price, of St. Augustine, Florida, is a 5th year Ph.D. student in sociology. After completing a bachelor's degree in sociology and English literature in the Honors Program at Florida State University, she chose to attend Ohio State because of the stellar quality of its sociology program. Her current projects include a study of an anti-sexual harassment campaign in Egypt and developing an expanded index of rentier status in Middle Eastern countries. In addition to work as a T.A. and Graduate Research Assistant, she has been active in the Sociology Graduate Student Association since 2006, serving as Vice President from 2008 to 2009. She is currently serving as a Graduate Student Representative for her department's Faculty Recruitment Committee. Annie currently has 2 publications and 5 papers under review or in progress. She is a strong contributor to OSU's record of academic excellence and an outstanding member of the graduate student community.
